This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ8:15 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (734) 975-0277. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thaispoonmi.com.

I came in for the first time today for the lunch box special. I got the Bangkok chicken, it came with a spring roll, rice and a side salad for about $14. The price is pretty reasonable for lunch in Ann Arbor. The chicken was made fresh and tasted great (pretty similar to No Thai! Sweet and spicy chicken) The salad came with a delicious dressing and was a good accompaniment. The spring roll was basic and the sauce it came with didn't add much of anything. The rice as fine. All in all I think lunch here is a pretty good deal.

Without a doubt, this is the WORST Thai food I have ever had. I paid extra for additional meat, was charged for it, and never received it. The portion was embarrassingly small. They advertise it as beef with broccoli, but what they actually serve is broccoli with a few pieces of beef mixed in. There was significantly more broccoli than meat. The estimated wait time was 10 minutes, yet I waited 25 minutes. To make matters worse, they charged $7 to upgrade from white rice to fried rice something that typically costs $3β$4 at most other restaurants. The food was overpriced, poorly prepared, and nowhere near worth the money. I ordered my meal medium, but it came out spicy. The beef was tough, chewy, and difficult to eat. This was a complete waste of money and one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences Iβve had in a long time. If youβre considering eating here, save your money and go somewhere else. The portions are tiny, the prices are outrageous, and the quality is unacceptable. I will never return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

I really like Thia Spoon. It felt like a homey No Thia. My friends and I got the Curry Noodles, the Noodle soup, the Masaman Curry, Crab Rangoon, and spring rolls. All of us enjoyed our meals. The depth of flavor was amazing and the spice did not play. We did a pick up order and the food was still piping hot when we got back. Portion size was good. Only knock was the gave us the wrong protein on one of the meals but it still tasted amazing.

Delicious food, friendly and responsive staff. I usually don't try new Thai restaurants because I'm a Thai snob and only want the best, so glad I tried this place. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Ordered takeout (lunch) for my wife and I. Food actually kind of looks good in the picture but was kind of meh, and they forgot the rice I ordered. We didnβt finish our food. Most likely wonβt go back.
